ive had vdj and the hercules dj console for a while now & everything was fine..
had to put another hard drive in my computer & reload everything .....
now when i use vdj and a song is playing i cant speed up the song or slow it down a little to cath up the beat with the jog wheels because if i try to move the wheel just a little forward it speeds up the song so much that it sounds like i put the pitch adj as fast as it can go and if it is too much ahead and i want to slow the song down a little if i just move the wheel backward a little it sounds like i am almost stopping the song........
i have reloaded everything 3 times... and have NEVER messed with any of the setteings to vdj or to the dj console... any ideas of what is going on
i used to be able to move the wheel forward a little & catch up without hardly noticing, now when i go forward it sounds like the chipmunks are singing.......
your help would be appreciated.........thanks

Turn OFF "scratch with jogwheels" in the controller settings in VDJ ;)
Btw, this option is only available in full version of VDJ, so I take it you are trying a demo or a "demo" .....
Hope you like the software, and buy the full legal version soon;)

Its not available in the 1.09 version you got with the console.. ;)
But the full version of Virtual DJ can scratch with the jogs... So you probably installed a demo/"demo":)
And hopefully if you like the software, you will buy the full legal version one day:)

i am NOT trying to scratch with the jogs....
was just trying to move them forward a little bit to cath the beat up

No worries;)
The reason it moves to fast, is that the scratch for jogs are enabled..
Just turn scratch off, and you can nudge in small movements:)
