Alienware ---the M550 has the video card for video mixing
The M3450 won't support hardware accel, because it's an Intel chipset for graphics

Specs are more than Fine, but your gonna have to get a soundcard with 4 in's for the TCV
 
I think I'm going to end up getting the Alienware lappy too.
It has a 256MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7600 gpu.

Will that be enough for mixing videos and have look clean and it not be choppy?

I already use the U46Dj with my current lappy. So I guess it'll be fine. I'm going extraterrestrial tomorrow. :) If it doesn't work fine in a week, i'll take it back. Thanks buddy.
 
No problem, you'll love Alienware its more like a desktop than laptop
