I'll check that, maybe I can improve the algo a little bit.
Anyway, you can still correct that in the "change bpm" menu.
 
Ok. I didn´t notice that i can correct it manually.
But let me tell you that, in my case, it detects mostly of the tracks wrong.
Mostly detects the third beat as the first one.
 
I have the same problem.
 
Did you scanned the tracks with beta 13 or beta 14?

The algo is not the same.
 
I did it with beta 14.
But i found what is the problem:
This problem usually appears when the song dosen´t start with beats but with silence. If this silence produces a little glitche or a little noise (a corrupted sound, like old vinyls produces), then vdj thinks that this is the first beat what it dosen´t.

No. From the beta14, the beat phase algo is this one:
It counts all the position where there is a beat present, but none in the previous square, and all the positions where there is no beat, but there was one in the previous square (the firsts counting for 3/2 more than the seconds).
This is supposed to give a correct position for the 4/4 pattern start (because beats usually begin at a 4/4 boundary, and the break also begin at a 4/4 boundary).
 
perhaps I'm using the wrong intended settings.
But with Jazzy, easy listening background music, like soft rock, cocktail type music. With autoplay engaged, VDJ exits a song with 30-40 seconds left to play, often cutting off even vocals (sometimes more) and enters a song 30-40 seconds into it... often cutting off even vocals... (sometimes much more)
weather I use the fade or smart setting, with the crossfader at set to full, weather I have the auto settings (bpm, beatmatch & pitch-reset) enabled or disabled.
Please advise which settings might be the best for this type of situation.
I guess it's pretty clear that I think this ability is VITAL.


 
The entire skin is impressive looking but I don't like the way the text looks. Anyone else understand ?

The text for the names of the tracks when they are displayed in the player.
 
Would be great if in the beat where we set a cue, the mark under the waves displays a different colour showing where the cue point begins.

When any cue hast just set, it would be nice if there will have a number beside cue position in song position, wouldn't ?
 
When i use the wheel on my mouse or in my kheyboard for scratching, I notice that it don't really stop the song, maybe a scratch config like atomixmp3 v2.2 will be love by anyone.

A mark on the visual song, for the enter and the end of loop will cool to.

Add an option in effects to cut the current song. For example, when you enable reverse, it would allow to hear only the reversed sound, or both sounds.
 
I don't uderstand the number on the cue. It already happens isn't it?

About the cue marks on the waveform, it would be too heavy. I don't want to make another traktor :)

About the loop marks on the songpos, I tried of course, but on a 5 minutes length song, a 8 beat loop takes around 3s (1/100 of the song). So if the songpos box has 250 pixels width, the loop mark will have only 3 pixels width ! and let alone speaking of 4, 2 or 1 beat loops. So it's completely useless.

About the effect you mentioned dams, it's another effect, so it will need another .dll.
The effects must have a few controls, but not much. Again we don't want to be a traktor.
 
I think the number on the cue is the mail I sent to you: how can we display remaining time before a cue / elapsed time after a cue on the skin ?
 
Seen this asked in the Atomix forum so I Thought I would mention it. How about a feature that allows you to record small pieces of tracks while they are playing. Something like you hit a shortcut and when you hit it again the recording is stopped. I know it sounds just like the record option but it could be set up different to record samples.
 
Not trying to be a pain but it is very difficult to read the bpm's in the window due to the size and type of font can this be altered a little in the default skin ?
 
3 modes about tooltip : enable, completly disable, enable only for cue informations.
