Do all of the MK2 buttons/features on the hercules mk2 continue to function when you are connected to an external mixer?
Thanks

So would I be wasting my money if I bought a Pioneer DJM-400 for instance. Would the sampling and FX on the pioneer work in addition to the MK2?

if you buy a midi mixer then you can control with that

but if its not a midi mixer , u can only fade and mix the outputs of the two channels in the mk2

with no software control

I am still very new to the Mk2, so bear with me on this.
When you are using an ext mixer with turntables and the time code vinyl
Do you still have the same functions of the Mk2 available, cue, fx, looping, etc....

the mk2 has control of the software

the external mixer only has control of the the output of the mk2

ie fade between A and B

So the main reason to have and external mixer would be to connect turntbles or cd decks.
Sorry if these questions have been answered else where, but I am trying to get my mind around this whole digital Dj thing. Its very cool, but a little bit of a learning curve for someone just getting into it
thanks for all of the information
