Hey im kinda new at this whole dj thing but i was wondering if there is a way to seperate the vocal part of the song fronm the instrumental. I know that there is the little effect button thingy that kinda does it, but iwanted 2 kno how to get a great quality vocal or instrumental with out having to actually have the vocal only and the instrumental only.....Thnkz

use the vocal removal plugin to remove the backing or the vocal
or remove it in a studio program such as cubase , protools , cool edit/audobie audtion or audcacity then use it in vdj

The vocal remover isn't that great...
But Tex's inverter can achieve some great stuff
Making an ACAPELLA using only Virtual DJ with inverter effect
You need the full pro version of VDJ for that though...
