I am new to Virtual Dj and have many questions on the best way to manage my music.
If I keep my music on my hard drive and also on an external hard drive as a backup, what is the best way to synchronize my files so that when I rip additional files to my hard drive, how can I back up the additional files on my external hard drive without recopying all the files? By the way I organize all my files into catagories in different folders and then in folders by artist and CD's.
Will the comments I put into the songs in Virtual Dj be copied when I copy the song to another hard drive?
If I move songs to a different location and then rescan the hard drive under database, will the comments on my songs be lost, will the database be corrupted?
Any help and advice greatly appreciated.

when you move a folder of songs
to say from drive C to E
right click the folder on E and press recurse , and add to search database
and the info should now be updated for the new location
