Generally, intel products are more stable, but Asus are also the biggest producer of motherboards in the world. So either way, I dont think it makes much difference if they have the same chipset

intel spends alot of money on gloss adverts so its not always the best deal

I have an ASUS, and am planning on buying another. Just make sure it has an Intel chip instead of a VIA, or anything else. I just think that Intel works better with Intel. Now if you are going to use an AMD prosessor, that's another story. I don't have any experience with AMD's.

Hi,

Intel alway produce stable MB's and more resistive in the time.
Asus it's better for performances and overcloking. They are also stable but some series not.

I own my own computer business and have used asus motherboards since 1995, they are solid product. I would get the asus with intel chipset, however I am using one of the new ASUS motherboards with the NVIDIA chipset and the board runs great no problems.

I suggest finding a product that has a few reviews
