Tópico: maya 44 usb asio drivers uninstalling themselves....

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

sometimes (but not always) when i restart my laptop, the asio drivers disappear, not a very good magic trick!

Any ideas what could cause this, I've just done a fresh partition with only VDJ, that's when the problem started. I'm sure I've heard of this before somewhere, but can't remember what the answer was.

Thanks. :)

are you changing usb ports?

and are you shutting down fully?

I was experiencing difficulties using another USB port than the one used when I installed the drivers.

each time you change usb port

the device may need to be reinstalled as the device is deleted from windows.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I've been using the same port all the time, but I have been un-plugging and plugging in again recently, so maybe I'd accidentally changed ports.

Thanks for the help! Hopefully it was just that.

:)

Here is a thread I started a while ago with some more information. Same thing happens to me and is still happening.

andytaylor, I think I have isolated the issue to when I use another media player. It seems like the next time I start up the computer after having used Napster or Windows Media Player the night before, I have to reinstall the drivers. Let me know if that happens with you as well.

Thanks, I'll watch out for that.

Hasn't happend for a week now though.
