Yeah, VDJ isn't reading them. Heck my itunes ain't even reading them. But if I scan with the old mixmeister, they show up. I'm getting tired. I'm editing more than i'm playing.

that not true, I use this as well, if you set your settings to "read ASAP" it should read them. The other thing is that you will need to click on all your folders to setup the database, if not when you do a search you will not find some music

Please understand that VirtualDJ stores the tag information in it's own database. So, if you add a file to the database and then at a later date update the tag information (external of VirtualDJ, like using MixMeister or Tag&Rename) then you need to update VirtualDJ's database with the new information. This can be done by a couple of options -

1. Turn on the Tags option to Read ASAP as mentioned above, then do a recurse on the folders that have the updated files.
2. Turn on the Tags option to Read on Load, then when you go to play the track the info should be read.
3. Manually go to each file and use the FileInfo to import the new information in.

And, I am sure there are few other ways that I am missing because there are several possibilities depending on what got updated externally.

Hope that helps.

Because Mixmaister doesn't store TBPM key (number of beats per minute) into MP3 tag, but only TKey (initial key) and POPM key (popularimeter) with default value 3.

Ok, Now that makes sense. It explains a lot. Where did you get this information?

I load demo version MixMeister Studio Version 7.0.8.0 down.
bpm is shown in virtual dj

You can try browse ID3v2 extended frames with any editor ( http://www.volny.cz/media-tagger/eng/index.html - best freeware ID3 tag editor which is working without instalation). After Mixmeister scan there are only new Key values, no BPM .

@ Ludek I can't view the link, it's blocked a s pornography. So is there a reason why they made it that way, I mean the old mixmeister used to write the BPM's to the tags. What's your work around?

That's just bad info, Mixmeister does store the TBPM to the mp3 tag.

Before Mixmeister scan:

After Mixmeister scan:

Where is TBPM? Tested with Mixmeister 6.1.3.0 and 7.0.8. Both with default settings and with the same results.

I believe Ludek is right cause after a mixmeister scan, for me it doesn't show the BPM's in iTunes, VirtualDJ or even ScratchLIVE. It just does it for itself.
@ xgl_dj. If it does store them, where does it store them?

Ok Sorry, my mistake, I thought you guys were talking about MixMeister BPM Analyzer but you guys are referring to Mixmeister 6.1.3.0 and 7.0.8.
