i have this keyboard

and the zoom button on the left could be very useful to me in virtual dj
in virtual dj, with page up and down you could move the cross fader
i was wondering if there is a way to key it to the zoom slider on my keyboard (the left beside caps lock on the picture)
to be able to control the cross fader with my zoom slider, i downloaded the software that came with the keyboard "intelli pro"
and installed it, i enabled its zoom option and under virtual dj, changed the key shortcuts to the zoom slider, but it took it as a ctrl button
and it doesnt work
any ideas how i could map it so it would actually work as a crossfader?

If you are using the Demo, go to the Config -> Keyboard Shortcuts, click the ADD button and hit one of the buttons you described above - in the top part of the dialog in the section labeled KEY - does it show a key detected ?

like i said, when i do that it only recognizes it as control
so it only goes up, but doesnt move when i move the slider up or down
its thinkin that its the ctrl button and im pressin ctrl to move the crossfader..

Not 1oo% sure, but i very much doubt that you will be able
to successfully map a crossfader or any fader-like button to
this control.
Get yourself a midi controller or an audio mixer. It's more fun.

heh i know its really late to msg, but i just remembered about this topic

but iam looking for a shortcut for key CTRL + A
if you highlight the first track in the browser then press CTRL + A it highlights all of the songs
then press add to playlist and all songs are ready to be played
a great feature for automix as you can pre set all the bpm's and let it play
also if wanting to listen to an album
idealy i would like to have a button on my mixtrack pro to do this as i have every other button i need
