No replies from either PSSL or VDJ TEAM, :( anybody?

@rudeboy

I'm working on your case please understand it might take a little time, however tis the season.

I was going to offer my services, but if Cyder on the case, no worries.

Rudeboy, what I was thinking was that, ( may regret this, lol ) if somehow your could get some cash to me. I would order you a pair off Numark TVC's from www.Decks.co.uk. ( I'm ordering some myself anyway ). Have them delievered to me, in England then post them to you. It looks like a good plan but it might cost a very lot of money in postal costs and it won't be till after Christmas.

If Cyder can't sort you out, which I think he will, my offer still stands.

Jimmy b

Edit, also I don't know what state they will get to you like.

I said I'd ask at PSSL on Monday (the 17th) Ruudboy.

I'll talk to the lead sales manager personally.

Ok Monday the 17th not Monday the 10th..

Jimmy thanks for your kind offer, but i need DHL or FedEx normal post would not work. (it would take 5 weeks because of local customs/posting system, last time somebody sent something for Christmas i got it with Chinese new year...)

Anyway, ill order from both sides if they make it possible.. Money is not the issue.. Just got also booked in HongKong for the 27th, hope i will not have to do Serato on the trips.. thats all..

Thanks, I know a bit desperate...

R.

Yeah, unfortunately I couldn't go back in time to Monday seeing as how I posted on here that I'd ask on Monday just this past Tuesday. ;)

What?!!! =O

=P

Also yes, I got your PM Ruudboy. Either myself or Cyder will figure something out for you. ;)

Hmmm now you say so...must have been the time difference and me just coming back from HongKong sometimes i have no clue what freaking day of the week it is...

ConQuest or Cyder... any news for me?

Panic today is the 21th and still nothing on the way to me!

Really wondering why the Vinyls are such a pain in the a@$ to get and the Serato's are avalible everywhere. Is the Vinyl pressing of no priority? Is numark taking over so Ato doesnt feel the need to press in now?

@ruuboy,

check your email tomorrow am. est.

VIP users should get White Timecode Vinyl....Like SSL's VIP's.

Just teasing....If I had to choose a color though I'd go with WHITE or a classic MARBLE like battle records.

How do i know what generation the timecode is which i got with Virtual Vinyl package.. btw i am still waiting on my timecode vinyls from cyder.. vietnam postage sucks...

You got the gen-3, I designed the vinyls for both Numark and Virtual DJ. Other then a small difference at the 9 minute mark they are the same.

theoretical question here... if i took the audio for the TCCDs and had them pressed to vinyl, it would work right? not that it would be cost effective, but for a hefty price you could design your own vinyls with your name or logo or something and get them done custom?

heard people do this! even here on the forum i think... i forgot the name of the company, somethng like custom vinyl... think its possible...

Cyder, can you check the msg i sent you, i am still waiting on the vinyl..

What about the backwards tracking that is off on my system, my running virtual vinyl thread...

@ruudboy

i just had a thought from your other posts about your timecode problems and how you said that tccds worked better for you (you did say that no?). i was also commenting on another thread about inconsistencies in the vinyl pressing process (rather the glass master). what if the tccvs were not pressed well? what if they were made with inconsistencies in playback? theoretically speaking, if the audio is the exact same, then the process of the software translating the signal is exactly the same. however if a difference in performance does exist, then in principle the signal must be flawed?

I thought clear would be the easiest since it has no color and no one could complain (almost no one) :)

Why not have a poll and vote on the color and also who would want a set, that way it would be easier to decide on the interest and order.

Maybe also vote on a new label design for the special editions.

Clear would be money. Then we can all show off all those bad a$$ slipmats we spend our money on.

first I already tryed it with a wax imprint .. works fine just remember to reset the setting in the actual program... colours are great.... I remeber the thin red line record was the first red one i saw in 1980.. The deal with makin time code into a pressing is the ability to normalize the recording befor you imprint it.. The cost of a one off record is huge... It was just something i asked a friend to make me... was a lot of fun and let me tell you wax recordings break easy....

just had a killer idea.. make the records glow in the dark. or at least black light sensitive.. I would buy that...

Did you guys know that the Serato TC Vinyl works on VDJ? They have colored ones.
