Hi. When i assign the crossfader or another knob on my mixer to the crossfader or another command on the computer, VDJ crashes if i turn the knob more than once. If i just simply touch the knob so that midi can be assigned then its fine but if i move the knob or crossfader too much, VDJ crashes. Im worried im going to turn up at a club and move a midi assigned knob and VDJ is going to crash during a set.

Any advice?

there are known problems with some midi controlers in 4.3 , which are now resolved in V5 beta 3
 
Its not a midi controller. Its an allen & heath xone 92 mixer. Some of the knobs and the crossfader have midi.

Does this change anything?

same principal applies for this , the way midi messages in general are processed have been greatly improved in v5
