theres one or two out on the market just do a google, but i've been tryin' to get cel or norway to make a countdown clock for vdj, make a search on this forum for "cel and norway new year count down" add your weight behind it, plus might be something there that you may want...

You Can Make Your Own In Vegas, Photo Shop Or Movie Maker, I shouldn't take more then a 1/2 hour to do.

why use a video? use the text2d plug-in and blow it up huge on the screen. and use the mic to count it down when you get to 11:59:50. the simpler you keep it the less you're gonna stress.

Come on, stress is a great motivator. We say we hate it, but most of us strive on it. I don't know about you, but I want the freaky shit, not just a clock that counts up. If I wanted to keep it simple, I'd still be using Cd's and a mirror ball.

Hey tayla or anyone else out there...we need something like this for new year's eve this year...big dance 350+ people. We need the video along with the audio countdown, and would like to go into Auld Lang Syne. New to this site, not sure how to pm you with our email? Will check back for some ideas. Thanks.
 
sorry neily, as much as i would like to i'm afraid i can't help you unless you buy the software, go out and spoil yourself...

for everyone else, busy making a new version of times square, christmas and new year stuff will be available soon, anyone wanting a custom made one with venue or your name or your name over a particular city etc please let me know as soon as please.

I made a very simple video countdown clock for New Year's. It starts the countdown at 11:59pm (1 minute), at 12:00am it flashes "Happy New Year!" for about 30 seconds. There's no audio. Like I said, it's very simple. I uploaded it onto RapidShare... http://rapidshare.com/files/309953915/New_Year_s_Countdown.wmv Hope this helps a few of you guys out with your New Year's gigs.

Thats good, but i have to be a premium rapidshare member to get your file.

I use the hidden video of the Westminster Clock Tower (Big Ben) on PromoOnly December 2005.
