I've tried several cameras and several user-created plug-ins, but I still haven't gotten a live feed to work THRU virtual DJ. The closest I've gotten is with a plugin that displays the video upsidedown and backwards. (hanging the camera upsidedown from my light truss gave a cool effect - MirrorVision!! - patent pending so don't even think about it!)

Let me know if this works thru VDJ, and how the setup works.

I have it working fine, will post my solution later. I'm getting ready to pack up.
 
I already have the ADS Capture Card, works great for video capture but I've never thought about using is as a live feed device. I don't camera that uses RCA inputs, what do you have?

The capture device will import s video and rca/composite
I use the Sony D100 with a wired remote control.
Thing is wicked

You could plug any video source into this device.
I plan on testing and using the Numark NuVJ with it today.

The last time I tried using a camera feed thru VDJ, it would cause VDJ to simply dissappear. Not sure exactly which version it was, but was with a version previous to 5.0.4.

Has this been fixed or is there something I'm doing that was causing it to go POOF!?
 
my camara worked since day one , i can even watch the bars security camaras through virtual dj.. its cool ,, love adding the effects...
 
OK, so maybe I have an issue. What should I look at? I just installed the nov 07 DirecX, what else should I check?
