Tópico: Does Virtual DJ support higher resolution monitors?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I checked the website and it looks as if only the Ferrari skin has a resolution of 1680x1050. Does any other skins support this res?

This worries me some. I have a 22\" monitor and running at 1024x results in blurry/distorted text and overall crappy look and feel.

Not to mention the screen flickers 2-4 times every time I open/minmize the program.

Thanks,
Lou

Did you look in the skin section? What you see is what you get.

Yes I have. I see one skin with higher res. I'm wondering why is this the case? why no built in support for higher resolutions skins?

The skins are built by members of this community, and given away for free. I have seen members ask for, and others deliver the resolutions they request. There must not be a great need for what you want. You can also build your own, if you have the skills, or ask one of the skin makers to build one for you.

ah - Thanks. I didnt know that.

I'm still tinkering with several programs to see which will best suit my needs.

i run my laptop (17") screen in 1920x1200 and i use the 1280x1024 DAC4.3 skin and its awesome. i lets me move the skin around and have space for other stuff like having chat open when im mixing on vdj radio. ive converted a half dozen of my friends to using vdj and they all use the DAC skin as well and prefer it because they all got used to it on my machine. its a matter of preference really....

what would really be nice, hint hint, devs is an interface tool for creating your own skins, ie a tool which will allow you to select and assign function zones graphically to create the xml.

in essence its quite easy to make a skin if you have some graphical ability, but its tedious to create the xml file of all the zones that exist.
