Well, Logically and Theoretically speaking, if this is a "General Forum" you can speak about "generally" anything. Whether it be technical or something that completely has nothing to with do VDJ. But, it is true, you should post your questions in the appropriate forum(s). That is the reason why they are separated.

@Shawnb, I know that was a silly answer but that was the way I felt at the time of your post. Considering the topic of this post, I can't believe this guys is serious. Then I thought, maybe it's a joke. What if he is serious? Well, I decided to be silly anyway. If you do need help, we could use some more info, but not in this forum.
I agree with Charlie that this has become over crowed with technical assistance, but I am just as guilty as the rest of you. I don't even go to the other forums. I don't know when that happened, because when I first got here, I checked every forum, daily. I guess when I learned to turn on my machine by myself, I stopped going. I will make an effort to visit the other forums, and give assistance where I can.

I was glad to see this topic posted. There have been many tech topics here lately, and it gets rather annoying at times IMHO.
I'd actually prefer this forum to remain the place where we can all come just to be silly, or at least to participate in conversations that aren't riddled with complaints and problems. There...I said it!
