How long does it take to find the music. I have an older friend who dj's and wanted to go computer but no matter how hard I tried I could not get him to understand how to work the software so we never went through with it. This looks simplier but also could seem to be difficult to find your music. What are your thoughts on music search on this unit?

You don't need these things. It is a stand alone player, only it uses SD cards instead of CDs or vinyl. It would make a great back up for a "push button" DJ in case of crash. I would love to hear how it works for you Vanti, please let us know how it performs.

The thing that I dislike about units like this is the fact that if you don't know where your song is, then your going to have a hard time searching the folders for one song.

I'm interested in it. Let me know how it turns out - I'm thinking of one for my rack as back up.

- Pitch Bend (+/- 4%, 8%, 16%)
- Search by frame
- Time Function
- Dimensions: 482 x 88 x 108 mm (19” / 2RMS)
- Weight: 1.8 kg
Dj Anthony's American DJ SDJ1 testresults:
Positive:
- Solid, shokresistant.
- Easy to use
- No delay after hit de play button
- Looping works good
- All the buttons are from good quality
- On a 4 gb SD kaart you can put for example the latest hits, on the second card the hits from the 90's etc, etc. Only have to change a SD card with 1000 songs on it.
Negative:
- The audiocable connection is at the bottom, so it can't stand up.
Instead of a double cd player, this is a good option for less.
Just 250 Euro's for a backup when your laptop is broken.
If you have 10 SD cards with on every card a genre, it's a nice gadget.
My final conclusion: I like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
