I just got the above mentioned card. Using the generic WDM driver, VDJ (and PCDJ) both have volume discrepancies. One channel set is lower volume than the other.
For compatibility, I would prefer the generic driver vs their driver. Does anyone else know of this issue and have a solution?

Does the soundcard have its own control pannel program, where you can level out the differences?

Well, using the WDM driver, both apps are impacted. Use the AISO driver, and VDJ sounds same on both. PCDJ (still using the WDM) has a sound discrepancy.
No control panel app. This is under W2K.

Me thinks the solution is awkward...
Channels 1&2 and 7&8 are the same for some reason.
So I used 7&8 vs 1&2 b/c the volume is normal.
Using the generic driver, both RED and VDJ seem happy.
I *might* reinstall the ESI driver since I know this does work - worst case, no ASIO for VDJ.
Ya see, I am retooling my main rig.

I dont know the giga soundcard myself, but glad to hear you're on the path of a solution :)
