Hi all,

Any suggestions on songs to put for the father and daughter dance song in a sweet 16th party. Please throw me any songs names you could come up with.

Luther Vandross .
Dance with my father ?

What I have done over the last five years, is scrap all of these typical songs, because they are not unique. We have all heard them a thousand times. I tell this to the clients, and tell them I will not give them a suggestion, until they come up blank. The truth of the matter is, the song does not have to have a reference to daddy or daughter, it just needs to be a song that means something to them. What I do for brides and sweet 16s is, ask them what their fathers favorite song is, what is her favorite song? I ask the father, the same thing. I also do the same for grooms and mothers. It also has to be danceable. I have run into all sorts of disabilities. This is the only area I ask them for input, and you will be surprised at the out come. You will still get some that are clueless, but 99% of the time, they come up with the song that works for them, and it is not any of the traditional songs listed. There will not be a dry eye in the house, when you explain that this is the song the father heard, when she was first born.

However, "Daddy my G-string is too tight" by Git My Money, is climbing the charts.

WHO'S YOUR DADDY? - TOBY KEITH

"I'm Not Your Daddy" by Ask Your Mother.

How about "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw?
;)

Sweet Child Of Mine - Guns n Roses...hehe
