I do mobile and club work, and for creativity, I always use an external mixer, and it has to have 4 channels. You will have to decide if the 2 channels from the internal mixer, is enough for you. Now that I think about it, I don't know how to hook this up, without a mixer. I will let some one else help you with that. With a mixer, your Maya 44 is connected to the computer. Output one on the Maya, will go to channel one on the mixer, output 2 to channel 2. The output from to mixer will go to a power amp, or to your powered speakers.

By the way, all of this can fit into a small rack case, so it will be nice and neat, and most components are connected.

Hi guy's n girls, I'm a fan of good old fantastic plastic, but recent events (a beautiful baby girl ) have devirted funds. so in my new set up i've been using traktor 2.6 with a controller i made from pulling apart a old keyboard, and have had no issues. I would really like to by able to control mp3's by way of timecode. My question is there some way of using the digital out of the numark ttx turntable (ttx has 2 x phono, 2 x line and 1 digital out ) as the input for timecode for virtual dj without the need for another soundcard. I'm already using a creative sound blaster pci sound card that has 6 outs (3x2) and one (1x2) in. On a acer 4150 travelmate laptop running xp sp2.
