I'm in the process of purchasing Virtual DJ - love the software!
What I want to setup is a small home studio for remix work and voice narration work. Budget is secondary compared to quality.
To be honest, I think all I need is a good mixer and a controller? What I want is to be able to mix music the same way as if I was using the keyboard/mouse (so perhaps a DAC3?) and add one microphone to the mix on demand.
What can I use for hardware on the mixer side that will work with everything (thinking of DJM-800)? ALL my music sources are on my computer and I'd like to keep it that way.... my days of using CD's etc. are no longer...;)
Thanks - sorry for the confusing questions but I've never worked around USB mixers etc.... my "glory days" are a pair of 1200's and a Rane mixer primarily.... hehee..
