If i hook up 2 CDJ 400's to the computer, how can i assign player #1 and Player #2 to the software? Will i be able to controll each individual player in VDJ with the CDJ 400's?

hy,
first sorry for my poor english

look at your cdj 400 's manual , you must change on one cdj , the midi channel , by default , all cdj are on the first channel , so put one of them on channel 2 and then assignate function with general Midi. Some mapper are available , look at external tools for vdj.

I bet native plug-and-play support will come soon within VDJ itself.
But as of now, as Julien says, it can be mapped manually, even premade midi mappers for download...

There is also a pluggin available on the Pioneer page....but the LEDs do not light with either, and no time/text info..also the scratch feature is too slow with both.......I hope your Right Rune.....native would be best..I got the cool platters design and my CDJ-400 sitting here waiting for it to be plug and play like my iCDXs were.......

Thank you guys...
Do you think as a controller (cdj400) for virtuald dj will be much superior than the Dac3, DMC2 or any other controller up there?

I own a CDJ-400, along with the Total Control, BCD2000, and two iCDX units...right now..I put the CDJ-400 at the same level as the BCD2000, that is only because native mapping is not available. I am sure once it is it will be a great controller. Right now my iCDX or Total Control are my favorites.
