Ciao Vincenzo

Virtual DJ and also Hercules DJ console are not Linux compatible, only PC or MAC.

If your english is not good go into Italian forum ;)

good idea....i don't know that it was.....
but if you say it's not linux compatible.......
thx 4 all....

I know someone (not Hercules) hacked the Ubuntu kernel in order to use the mk2/mp3 on Linux. Look here

But anyway, VirtualDJ is not compatible with Linux

@ Cel: the Mk2 driver was already included in Ubuntu 7.04 "Feisty Fawn", so I think it's been officially added more than a year ago ;-)

thx fi di answer....I already have the console drivers (Hercules Dj Console access library) on my linux.....but I can't able to use it as a second audio....

You can run virtualdj with wine on linux (I found some test results: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1704 ), altought I don't have an idea if the hercules will work with it. Have anyone tried this setup? I'm gonna test this kind of a setup maybe next week, my idea is to get the virtual dj to work on Asus EEEPC 900 (I would be such a compact gig setup when comparing to 15" laptop)

VirtualDJ works damn bad on Wine!

really a pity there's no vdj version for linux :(
