Just tried installing the U46, it alone has issues installing which I got on the mix vibed forum. There is one recommendation not to use VDJ with the U46MK2. I tried using the ASIO4all and it still isn't working. Supposedly they have a driver update which inorder to download it I have to uninstall, it's confusing but what can I do. I think someone had recommended this soundcard to use with VDJ and I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake.
Ok who has the U46 working with VDJ, I don't want to stop using VDJ, that was my main issue of just getting the interface, not having to purchase another program. Is this the case? Should I refrain from using VDJ.
The forums I've read regarding the subject are a bit overwhelming with all the adjustments. Buttom line, is it going to bump heads with VDJ?
OBTW, I'm using a DJm 800, CDJ-1000's with VDJ timecode cd's the best windows laptop money could buy 6 months ago LOL with vista. Right now, with the setup all I get is the timecode tone and the computer sounds coming from my speakers, no music while using VDJ.

what u46 driver are you using? I'm not sure of the difference between the original u46 and the mixvibes version other then the color. What are your settings? and do you get an error?

Please excuse my ignorance, I'm pulling the driver straight from the cd it came with so not sure how to tell you what driver, as per the mixvibes forums, it was recommended to remove the asio4all driver, but I think I will need it for VDJ right?
I got a gig on Saturday and don't want to have to make cd's LOL
worst case I will leave my cd's but that's not cool.

I'm sorry i'm not sure if there is any difference in the mixvibes u46 vs. the original version. You should not need ASIO4ALL, so that is correct. I guess for kicks uninstall the mixvibes driver and install 1.016 from here http://download.esi-audio.com/?w=esi&p=26&g=2&l=en
see if that helps, you can also try 1.030 which i have but i dont think its as good as 1.016..... i'm actually still testing on 1.030

yup downloaded the driver, nothing yet, i was able to use the directwire now with this driver, not sure how to configure though, where do my inputs go into and the outputs under the MME WDM ASIO GSIF. I'm trying to find something in the mixvibes sight nothing yet, it's a bit confusing trying to find stuff on the sight, COME on ATOMIX where's the VIRTUAL DJ audio interface damn it having to go with another setup.
MAybe I'm just used to VIRTUAL DJ and the forums etc.

in VDJ in the sound tab, sound card it has the ASIO driver selection ( UNDER OUTPUTS) and it doesn't give me any other option. Now in the ASIO driver: I'm able to select between mixvibes, asio4all and the onbaord soundcard but they all say asio next to them? that's confusing.
