Tópico: "MIX" Settings for Video.

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

For those of you that don't ever use automix ... obviously this thread is NOT for you.

I know some have still had some issues with the "automix" feature.

Setting it to be smooth for video transitions without chopping off the beginning or ending of a video is important.

After months of changes due to software updates I finally feel I have a good setting that always gives me a smooth mix and doesn't jump into a video, or clip of the ending.

I use automix, and select "remove nothing", then set the crossfade time to 4 seconds.

BUT ...

I want to hear from others ...

What has been some successful automix settings you use? (Maybe with a description of (all) your settings and why it works so well for you.)

Thanks

I guess no one here wants to discuss automixing settings?????

Too Bad ... I'm getting several responses on another forum to this same question.

What the deal here???

You said the "A" word, no one wants to comment because they are afraid of being labeled as a wavy :)

I have since day 1 used the same setting with an 8s time. I have recommended the same on this forum several times. However, the real issue for most is that they want the AutoMix to truly be a DJ and do beatmixing and blends as a DJ would manually. Yes, everyone will scream that the features are there then it should work and I agree; however, it will NEVER replace the DJ doing the job that they should be doing to begin with.

So, I will agree with your settings if you are using it like I do - that first bit of time at opening where you are still getting some things organized or waiting for the crowd to show up.
