check your sound copnfg also see if you got the mk2 in dj mode

When you say that VDJ "would not play on the second deck" do you mean the song absolutely doesn't load / play OR do you mean song is playing just no sound is coming out?
Since you say you checked the fader, I will assume the song plays just no sound.
If this is the case and If everything worked Thurs night - check your RCA connections and if your mixer has selector switches from LINE 1, LINE 2, etc check them as well (this is pretty basic, but in the rush of a gig it is easy to overlook).
