could you PLEASEEE give me a current DATE when VDJ 5.1 appears and will be available for download....

hey thanks for the answer but he's right I'm talking about the final 5.1 verison not the 5 rev 7 one ... this version is already oldschool ^^

Im just waiting because of the MAC version but dont you have any date? or any guess? do you think it takes weeks or months ?
 
Gee, have you not been with us for a while. The closest to a date that we ever get is "soon". Which is good for me because I rather have a complete package and not something that was rushed out of the drawing room to appease the mass. Then two weaks later you have another riot on hand waiting for the next "rev" version.

It takes years of refinement, several cases of beer and wine, a few parties and then we let a select few write some code. So I would say SOON since this is a slow holiday time frame and their won't be any shows or special events to hold up progress. Maybe a few graduation parties... aahh, will skip those....


Honestly, we never announce a date. We never give a timeline. And you say this version is already old school, btw you are listed as a Home Edition user - why not register your serial for the Pro version.

Well that is hard to believe, because you say the version is old school. And yet, you want the MAC version, which currently is functioning very well with rev7.

But no need to argue the issue. When the next version is available, everyone will be notified accordingly.
 
really i dont have any of these verisons it would be very nice if i could use the mac version for real! but i'm waiting for 5.1 because i have read that it would be available as a trail version and i want to test it first before I buy it for my mac =)
 
How do you know what the difference of the current version and the 5.1. Do you have some inside secret that we don't know about. Since the current version is fantastic then wouldn't it be safe to say " test the current " then purchase the current and update later.

Happy April 1st everyone.

Can we expect a improved sampler, the ability to cue samples without the need for an external mixer ?
Or even the addition of a 3rd deck just to trigger loops and samples ? (please dont tell me about multi instance)
Improved FX ?

By the way great work with the more professional looking website, that Guy on top of the homepage before was just very cheap.

The new 5.1 abosolutley fantastic downloaded it earlier this morning. Keep up the good work guys.
