I think the only questions I have left about these decks are how durable they are, though I notice the warranty is 3 years parts and labour. I was wondering how well they worked for scratching (especialy now that I don't have my turntables anymore) but this video I thought answered that question pretty well. Now I really wanna get a hold of these bad boys;^]

Stanton is under-respected to me (at least with the guys I talk to)
I own one of they're low end mixers(back-up) - works very nice, I wouldn't hesitate to buy just about anything with the stanton logo on it.
MUCH better than Behringer

The only stanton products I've had so far have been the 680hp carts., but they worked very well for the duration I had my turntables.
I like the idea that I can have a good pair of decks for both work and fun, plus I could really put those extra 8 sample banks to work. If they stay right at $300 come may they'll be just in my budget range, and given all the positive reviews I'm finding on these decks I'm starting to think I couldn't possibly do any better for the price;^]

The table is great for many things. Here is the problem. The patter for whatever reason gets worn out way faster than the other products on the market. I have owned 6 now so listen to what I am telling you. I believe it is due to the fact the platter is so heavy compared to the spindle and pick up parts that it sits on. It will work for a long time for you with zero problems.
At $250-$300 it is THE player to pick up to learn some decent technique from. I love the effects on there....also the 4 sample pads are hot. Once I had set up some beats and snare hits on the pads to make my own drum machine. All of a sudden the lappy crashes. The 314 saved me. I hit reset with one hand and banged out a drum beat with the other.
So yes...very cool. I still like my Pioneer though. Very very very light touch and smooth as silk. The Stanton units, IMO, will make you a better scratcher because you will have a very light touch later after working with the heavy platters for a while.
If you want to try one I will send my last one out in the original box for a good price.

My partner has had a pair of those for about a year and a half now; the only problem issometimes the cue button has to be pressed very hard when trying to get the track back to the beginning.
Besides that the scratch sounds great and everything works perfect. He uses them with SSL tccd's.
hope that helps.
