Hello,

I have a brand new laptop with Vista.
Also I have a DMC2 controller
My version of virtual dj is 5.07
Had two gigs this weekend:

Friday: No problems

Saterday: 1 crash

Crash ID=004767f1 (date=803151646, version=5.0.7, build=507, thread=Main, dump=8b421451, excode=c0000005 (0,218))
Crash ID=6f80e0c7 (date=803191721, version=5.0.7, build=507, thread=Video, dump=8b50048b, excode=c0000005 (0,4))


In the text above I see something with video, but I only played music files.
Can't remember when it crashed.
I played a cd at that moment and with control alt delete I stopped virtualdj and ran it again.

Does somebody know what this crashguard info means?

It's an external crash which crashed the video module of VirtualDJ.
Did you use a video plugin? Sonique, Slideshow, Clipbank ?
 
Strange, because the day it happened, I didn´t use video.
Maybe I have configured that when I only play music, the sonique plugin must be activated.
Gonna have a look next weekend.

Can I solve this problem that it won´t happen again?

i have been using a laptop with vista too and i pull my music from an external harddrive so every time i do a gig i have to reanalyse the songs i want to use...after i drop them on to the playing field after about 5 videos or songs play vdj crashes and freezes or it will freeze and skip songs that i know will play on my other computer what can i do to fix this problem???????????
