I come to reallize that my second disc drive that holds the back up OS. Does it really do anything? I have already copied the backup OS onto DVD disc for safe keeping. Can I just dump the info and use it as another drive and leave my C: drive for VDJ and other minor software. I think it's a waste of 250 gigs don't you think.

Was this created during the OS install, IE like Dell System Restore and if so the only way you can get rid of this is if you buy an OS and wipe the whole drive clean, now the other question is, is this just a partition or a seperate drive??

I have a C: drive and a D: drive that only holds Backup OS. I want to empty it and use it for storage.... is it possible? Or does the D: drive mean it's partitioned.
