Now, how do we explain that Brooklyn NYC with old electrical system is still using 2 prong wall outlets? Brooklyn is the home of millions. People there are all fine; they just complain now about rice and gas prices.

Good question. My ex wife sold a house in Brooklyn last year. I converted many of the outlets to 3 wire grounded, when her aunt was alive. Those old houses used metal conduit and metal boxes, that were grounded to earth. So even though it was two wire, it was grounded.

People there use 3 to 2 prong adapters with the ground connected to nothing. They also use power strips with the ground cut off. I've seen it all over the place.
I just do not get the ground thing unless the negative (-) is (partly) the ground. And I doubt that. If no machines are connected to ground at all, how are they grounded?

I'll hug ya all if it'll help. : )
Kids... DON'T REMOVE THE GROUND PIN!! Definitely wouldn't want my advice to be responsible for an injury or worse.
Now, someone turn the music back up, plz!!
