Can i use my M-Audio Oxygen 8 and set it up to control certian paramaters of the mixer... because this moving one thing at a time with the mouse isnt cutting it....

I think you can as it is a MIDI device, you can try to map it yourself, go to "Config>Remote Control>General MIDI>Config".

Those options won't be there if you're using the home free version.

These options aren't available any more because they are obsolete (This topic is from 2008 and over 4 years old!)
In the latest version, MIDI controllers can be accessed CONFIG -> Mappers but usage is limited to 10 minutes at a time in VirtualDJ Home FREE.
To use MIDI controllers for more than 10 minutes, you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
