How long can a recording be ?
I have some material on tape that i want to convert to MP3, but it's over 1 hr long. Can the Rip Vinyl program handle that ?
If not, do anyone know about a program that can ?

I dont think there is any timelimitations on the RipVinyl software :)
So it should be able to record that tape...

RipVinyl is still pretty fresh and will undoubtly get better. It's adequate for one off rips, but for serious line-in rippers (I'm ripping thousand of tracks from my vinyl collection, I 'm a converted 1200 dj), I'd recommend audiograbber (http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/), it's awsome, and best of all it's free :)

Thanx ,
The Audiograbber line in sampling mode works great.
I will give it the ultimate test with an 8hr tape tonight ;-)

Audiograbber 1.83 free
Rip vinyl is designed to rip "songs" not "sets", and is unique to this, but it records to memory first,
(like when you load a song in virtualdj)
