It would be great to have a COM based Generic Remote Control Interface. - Not MIDI .
Then anyone could build or interface any kind of hardware and controll VDJ with it really simple.
Since i understand that VDJ is written in C++ and i'm sure you have a nice object model it should be really easy for you to implement.
I would love to have this ;-)

It would also be great to be able to hook into your MIDI dispatcher.
So when a MIDI command is comming from an external device it first goes to the COM object. There we can modify or extend it any way we like and then send it back to VDJ.
This way we could change the behavior of any MIDI hardware function. Like change the EQ range, re-map functionality on any MIDI hardware device etc. And also generate combinations of MIDI commands etc.
