anybody know a good program to create mashups...

mixmeister, sony vegas, virtual dj, pcdj, serrato, adobe audition, ableton....there are dozens if not hundreds.....and of course there is always 2 cd players (or turntables) a mixer and cd recorder
 
there is no magic program that creates mash-ups for you....

you have to have creativity, knowledge in music theory and skills...

there are plenty of choices of production software to create tracks from the basic elements (intrumentals, acappellas, etc)

But keep in mind that the market is FLOODED with crappy mash-ups... some people think that just cramming two songs together sounds great... but .. you have to keep in mind if it is the right key and make the appropriate changes throughout the songs.

I hardly play mash-ups because most are horrible and I know the crowd in the club just won't get it at times and they just want to hear the original.
 
I agree with Al, most mashups suck...there are a few good ones out there but are very very few and far between and at least here in Phoenix, So-Cal & Vegas the crowds look at you like you are stupid when you play mashups...I was actually at a club in Scottsdale the other night on a rare off-night and the people at the table next too us kept complaining that "...this guy should turn the other song volume down when he is trying to mix, I want to hear the song he's playing....."
