Been using my trusty IBM to do audi mixing for a year with no problems. Just started video and it struggles a little with some of the more complex transitions.
Spec wise, it's a Centrino 2.0Ghz
1GB RAM
ATI Fire GL 128Mb
I've ordered another 1GB of RAM but am a little disappointed that that video card struggles. The FireGL's were ATI's high-end video editting card so I figured a bit of video mixing, even on the mobile version, wouldn't push it too hard.
I searched the wiki and forums but didn't find much relevance; has anyone got tweaks to improve video performance? Any specific ATI driversets I should be looking at? (remember, FireGL drivers are not the standard Radeon ones).
