Tópico: Video Files Title, artist are switched

Hi,
I rip my files (MP3 audio and VOB video) and name each song in the order Title - artist. (ie Piano man - Billy Joel) If it is an audio file the artist and title are correct in VDJs browser. If it is a video of the song then the Titla and artist is reversed. Ie. If it is a video the artist will be "Piano Man" and the Title will be Billy Joel. I have over 1000 videos. How do I get the videos to read correctlyin VDJ's browser? Otherwise when I do a search for a Billy Joel song I hace the MP3s correct but the videos headings are incorrcect.

I hope that made sense. I will do a search and the video files have the Title and Artist reversed.
The audio files are titled correctly in the browser.
 
I know if you right click on the file in the browser,go to file onfo you can rearrange the info there and VDJ will remember it..but unfortunatly...
doing it all at once ? not good news. Then again mabe someone here might know another program that could help you faster.
 
Yes or I can use Tag and rename, but this is for over 1000 videos.
How come the audio tags are different from the video tags?
Is there an easy way to fix this?
 
Hi Billyzee, not sure if this will help, but have you tried using the tip thats discussed under the thread titled File name and Vers. 5.1?
 
I have tried the tip, but it does not work for my video files. Nothing changes. The title and artist are still reversed.
 
the video files dosen´t have id tags ,the software only read the file name - i got a small exe file that change all the files in a folder from a-b.xxx to b-a.xxx (xxx = .avi .mpg,.vob etc ) maybe that will help...
