Hi all, i was wondering if any skin designers could give this idea some consideration...
The Denon players / controlers look great, and DJFormat is working on one of the contolers already, but there is a desktop verson of the Denon hardware controller.
I was thinking of having a skin which has this image on the left or right of the screen (top to bottom), then have the search browser on the opposite side of the screen (also top to bottom). this will give tons of room for searching for files, though depending on horizontal resolution, might give limited space if you have more than 5 or 6 columns, and the playlist, too. (but hey-ho) this will make a faboulous skin!!!
was there talk of a basic skin designer?
or if i build this myself, where do i start?
there's the XML help files and topics here on the forum, but that software for the graphics?

Photoshop (best)
to make the graphics

Why not start with modding this http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skin.html?id=4345
then see if the original author will let you release it, if not you just keep for your personal use.

i didnt see this skin before!!!
looks good, but i still would like to try out my idea, as that controller was designed to replace the need for 2 players. there's a switch on it to change the commands from deck A to B.
if i do make a similar skin, i'll send it to TODO MIX firstly. ;)
