...........................of Disco classic, hehe.

Thanks again guys. Posted a thread last week, on where I could find the extended and 12inch version of disco's classic, and once again you kind people saved the day. Could of played the "radio edits" of the tunes, but these longer version really played a good part in the night

Had the Disco theme night the club last night, really went well. The club boss must of spent a fortune, he transformed the small place, we had back drops, the right lighting and the biggest glitter ball I've ever seen. There were girls in very tight velvet catsuit's (very nice I must say) big hair, lads in white suits with big ass medallions around there neck, we had so many Disco Stu's it was well funny.

One thing I've got to say is though and discovered with this type of music is that when mixing you have to be very careful as the beats do change in tempo every now and then just ever so slightly, I guess that's due to not having computers back then to keep to BPM fixed.

All together it was a good night and had so much fun, got up this morning still buzzing, with Donna Summer - I feel love, still going round my head (last track I played)

Cheers again Guys

Good Jimmy,

Disco music is the mother of most dance and house music. most tracks from 70s to mid 80s have not computerized bassline, so BPMs vary all over the track...that makes a hard nights for most non experimented Djs. So, if you do a well work mixing those track, you gain one star to your Pro Dj, passport.
