I've been messing around with VDJ for a while and I really like the look and feel of it. I want to take the next step and start using Timecode CDs as this is probably the easiest way to connect to the mixer where I work. I have a couple of questions which I hope can be answered.
1) If a buy say a Maya 44 or Hercules console, is it just a matter of plugging these into my laptop and then to the mixer?
2) Would the Hercules be worth buying as it can double as a sound card and a mixer if I wasn't using timecode cds?
3) Do Timecode CDs work on all cd players?
4) Say for example I'm playing out live, and I want to play a 'normal' cd can I just eject a Timecode cd and insert the new cd or do I need to reconfigure the mixer?
Thanks for your help.

I think your 1st step should be purchasing VDJ Pro. Yes you can use the Maya and/or the MK2. From what I hear the Maya is better than the MK@ for soundcard.
