Tópico: Maya44 USB Issue

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Does anyone else have issues with their Maya44 USB card where it does not start (or get recognized) by VDJ at the first time? ... and then have to replug in the USB connector for it become "active"

I have used different machines, used both the Audiotrak and ESI versions of the card, but quite often, the cards do not want to turn on until I disconnect and then reconnect the USB plug. It is becoming very annoying to go behind my computer every time to replug the USB connection. By the way, this only occurs after a fresh reboot/powering on my PC. Once VDJ successfully recognizes the card, it works for the rest of the day until I turn off my PC.

Yes i have always had this issue with the Maya. Happens less on my gig machine then on my home machine. I think it may have something to do with using other media players, like Windows media player. Lucky I have a usb port on the front of the machine :)

i have this problem also..but i have my port on the side of the laptop and if i leave it off for awhile i have to "reset" it this way

Viper - it is something that happens from time to time as well to me on my club system. What I did was I have a USB extension cable that I use just for this purpose. That way I can use the USB port on the back of the system and bring an easy 'connect/disconnect' point to a location easy to get to out front [don't have front USBs on the rackmount PC].

It is something I have come to accept in the 4 yrs of having the MAYA. Basicly what happens is that when the system shuts down or even a soft reboot it is as if the drive doesn't think it was disconnected from the O/S. So basicly when I reboot and launch VDJ and I get no sound. Quick fix - shutdown VDJ, disconnect MAYA, count to 5, connect MAYA, launch VDJ. Now that works for me - might work for you.
