I tried, doesn't work, I'm doing something wrong
I tried the code, I tried the youtube http .../youtube and doesn't embed it
how do you activate bb code?
please get us a refreshing class

Tayla, you made a very nice tutorial on how to post vids from Youtube.....can you please post that link again?...BTW,....no more ALf vids..our Moderator ALF might think we are talking about him

anywhoo unfortunately this is poorly recorded .... this is what ya call some real playin' on .......that's my idol Billy Cobham on drums ......

when i was 14 and had my first set of radio shack headphones (earned by mowing lawns in the perrine fla. heat) i wrote out the studio version of this tune ...... i did know that i was trying to learn advanced stuff ...... i didn't know of course that 36 plus years later people would still hold this music in awe and that someone would come along and form the Mahavishnu Project in order to keep the music alive to another generation.....

well, anywhoo ....notice anything unusual about the drummer ?? drummers please don't give it away ......

here's a hint .... the drums are setup as if for a righthander but ..........but what IS the answer .......?

that's jan hammer on keys btw the guy who wrote the miami vice theme ..... and jerry goodman on violin was from the flock who at the time were perennial warm up acts (as was chicago , btw ) for huge headliners like jimi and janis

mclaughlin and cobham had both been in groups run by Miles Davis , so they already had a world class pedigree b4 mahavishnu .....

cobham was a drummer in the U.S. Army proving that the US armed services can in fact prepare you for more than just shooting stuff

dig the riff at about 4:13 that gtr and drums do together ..... i can't help but notice from this , that when mclaughlin and cobham just get way out there , off the reservation , seems like Jan Hammer holds down the fort and pulls 'em all back ....... actually , that's TearEmUp on violin ....
 
hehe now plays for ac/dc... think you get who i mean.
