How is this controller overall, when using a midi controller will i need to upgrade my cpu or anything? Whats the process to get started? I already have dj IO soundcard for my external mixer.

Which controller? Vestax do three, I have the VCI-100.
It's very simple: Plug 'n' Play, you have a soundcard so you're good to go, the controller doesn't place a great demand on the program/CPU.
It's not noticeable.

The VCI-100 also fits in well..
