i worry about our northern neighbors sometimes...you guys really have your head on straight unlike your neighbors to the south :( but I still have faith in the Canadian people. Also toronto is an amazing city, best one I've ever been to.

One of the more Less thought through things floating around for the last little bit is the CARBON TAX.
Where large producers of carbon emissions get taxed and those funds get transfered to other provinces that have low carbon emissions.
The largest hit Provinces would be:
Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta.
There's a lot more to these "plan" but it's ever changing because it's a Liberal Party of Canada election promise/platform.

When Stephane Dion first revealed the Carbon Tax via the Media the Conservatives - specifically the Prime Minister Stephen Harper described it.:
"When he says there will be a carbon tax and it won't affect gasoline and it won't affect energy prices, this is nonsense. Of course it will. A carbon tax is a carbon tax."

My personal favorite Marcel is when politicians tell you they are not going to tax the middle/lower class..only the people with money.....Now, you tell me..who do the middle class/lower class buy their clothes/gas/food from?......
