Why is it that all of my purchased playlist in my I-tunes isnt working? It just says error and acts as if the files cannot be found. Ive tried changing the file name from 01 artist-song.mp4 to just artist-song.mp4. Also, the mp4 files seem to be protected and that may be contributing to my problem. Is there anyway to play these songs off my I-tunes?

iTunes protects their files, unless you purchase iTunes Plus files, otherwise their files are only playable in iTunes or iPods.
There are third party programs you can purchase that will covert the files to work in other programs. Google search on itunes file protection, not sure about the legality of these programs probably depends on the country you live in.
