Up to this point I used a great compact desktop system for gigs. It really was not a hassle to set up/tear down, as it pretty much just stayed in the club.
Now, I have a great new notebook and now Iwill use that for gigs- I know, I know - welcome to the new millenium! It has an internal sound card but only has a stereo output and a headphone output. I am asking, which external usb 5.1 soundcard do you all prefer.

personally none! if your using it in a club then your probally using timecoded vinyl or cd's or if your using a midi like the RMX then its got its own soundcard! what are you using to controll it? and why do you need a externall soundcard?

No, my good system remains at the club - this was to be more for traveling shows, etc.

Actually, I have decided on the new omni controller with built in Numark io card....it will suit my purposes when I am not in club.
