I know a Dj who lives in Riverside, why do you want to know?
 
Ok i see alot of vids thru you tube and see how all these dj can scratch and do all these crazy things on ther equipment, but for some reason my stuff i cant do,

I have 2 Dn-S5000 i just ordered the denon x1500s mixer

but i also have a mk2 that i see every one scratch with no problems
 
Please remember most DJs who do a lot of tricks. practice like crazy. Just because at first you are struggling does not mean you cant do it..it means you need to practice more....
 
I'm in the San Fernando Valley area. You should be able to do all the "tricks" that DJs do.But remember, the crowd likes music, not tricks.
Practice is very good. I do it all the time with Video just to see what goes with what. I even practice seting up my equipment fast and breaking it down to see how well I can do it Sober and Drunk.

SL1210MK2 is what I use with Maya 44 USB, DAC-2 controller and X-Session Pro for video fader. Rane MP2 mixer and your usual BBE Sonic Maximizer plus CrossOver and Special Effects for Voice.
 
I know what you mean, i guess im so use to my mk2 and when i try to use my 5000 it seems so wierd, plus i dont have the skin or miker yet to make it all good.

 
does any one know if i can hook up the denon to the new RMX, and if yes will i need to use the vdj box
 
Hi to all, I live in Moreno Valley, CA. and I use mk2, use videos, and you can scratch also. Having problems in the past with set up, but I finally figured it out my basic setup for video. Let me tell you guys, that when I put my hard drive in the middle of my lap top and the metal on the bottom (when the hard drive is closest to metal, and you load the video, your video will freeze), that's what happened lately.
