Tópico: Video Mixing from Deck A to Deck B

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Can anyone help me please.... I'm using Vurtual dj5 on my laptop and it wont let me mix videos using both decks, on the old version 4 it loaded the next video in the next deck before it played, now it doesnt and sometimes doesnt load quick enough to play without stuttering, is there anyway we can config V5 to swop decks for each video ?

Also, can we config V5 to allow a simple method of moving onto the next video if the current playing video becomes boring ?
maybe a keyboard shortcut that I am missing.? Ive serched crossfade, mixing etc and can't seem to find any easy way, maybe I am missing the obvious ??

Thanks for any help you can all give.

Regards,
Paul

Thankyou for that bit of info, I'll try it out now !!

Many thanks,
Paul

Ok, I tried it out and yes it does mix now, as it did before but still doesnt switch from deck to deck.

I'll see if I can work out a shortcut to do it.

Ive also read all the old forum topic and agree this should have stayed on the new version as it was a great feature of the old.

Thanks again for your help.

Paul

Incase anyone can help me with a shortcut:

I want VDJ to play from a loaded playlist in deck 1 then fade to deck 2 and load next song in deck 1
I'd also like it to be able to fade out a song manually during autoplay and the same happens, a new song loads in the cart which has just played.

Thanks everyone !!

Paul

Its not gonna happen, and probably will never change. If you get used to it in 1 deck u will see it is much much better!! IMHO

To fade out manually in version 5.2 all you have to to is make sure it is loaded into your playlist then double click on it and it will fade to that song.

Thanks for the replies Brian, The trouble with my setup is that because we are using VOb videos, they really need to pre-load or the suffer from stutters and sometimes dont load as quick as Vdj wants to play it.

Thanks for your help though.

Paul

I've not experienced video, but I know with MP3's the tracks ARE pre-loaded in VDJ5 for single deck auto mixing. Under the wave form on deck 1, you will see a second wave form. This is the second track that has been pre-loaded.

Automixing on one deck is far better as you can have your next "live" tune queued up on deck 2 ready to go...

Cheers,

Roy

Agree with you that automixing is better one 1 deck as your first big tune is sitting in deck 2 ready to start your show, but for video is does need to preload before or it either stutters or goes out of sync.

Thanks for the replies,

Paul
