i got the very first Hercules console it's being working fine for years the midi section will not work some time i reinstall drivers and it work but when i close and reopen just won't work

Are you with DJ Console Mk1 Mac (delivered with Traktor DJC) or DJ Console Mk1 PC (delivered with VirtualDJ DJC)?
Have you tested if this happens also with earlier drivers ?

i got the DJ Console Mk1 PC the first one hercules came out with,i found out the problem the usb on the console is not good but the sound card still work.

ALso make sure you select "DJ Console butons" for MIDI input in the control panel. By default, the MIDI port In is selected.
