hello. when i go to scratch .AVIs that i have encoded to be read as windows media (the only way i could get the .AVIs to play without stuttering) the screen turns black. i upgraded my video/graphics card to 512mb and now i can rewind and fast forward the .AVIs very fast with the jog wheel without the screen turning black but when i go to do a simple scratch the screen turns black. any ideas? thanks in advance my dj brethren.

has anyone used an .AVI to .WMV encoder available online for a small price, not VDJ codec related?
